Exploring the dining and restaurant app category, we've observed varying performance metrics amongst the top contenders on the Android platform in the UK during the first quarter of 2024. McDonald’s UK started the quarter with 21K downloads and concluded with a peak at 35K, showcasing a steady upward trend. Weekly active users also followed an increasing trajectory, starting at 493K and rising to 537K by the end of the quarter.
The KFC App UKI - Mobile Ordering experienced a more volatile journey, with downloads beginning at 29K, dipping mid-quarter to around 17K, and ending at a lower point of 11K. Weekly active users started at 160K, with fluctuations leading to a decrease to 128K over the quarter.
Greggs showed a relatively stable pattern, with downloads hovering between 13K and 17K throughout the quarter. Active users saw a minor increase, starting at around 98K and finishing the quarter slightly higher at 103K.
